The Cerasee plant (Momordica Charantia) is native to Africa and the Middle East however is now present in all areas of the world. The Bitter Melon fruit it produces is incorporated into many Indian and Chinese dishes. 

 

Bitter Melon or Cerasee leaves are used throughout Jamaica and the Caribbean as a potent blood purifier. Like the fruit it produces, the Cerasee plant has a very bitter taste. The tea is usually prepared from both leaves and stems. It can be sweetened with both honey or cane sugar(optional)

Rich in Vitamins A, C, iron and phosphorous, Cerasee excels in detoxing the body. However, its many therapeutic benefits originate from its rich antioxidant and polyphenol content.

Approximately  3 gram makes 3 cups cleanse tea.

Approximately  4 once or more for baths

100% dried Cerasee leaves and roots.

Storage:

  • Dried Cerasee can last up to a year if stored cool and dry.
How to Use:

To make tea -Bring water to boiling level, lower heat and add dried Cerasee (approx. 1pinch  per 1 cup of water) to pot. Leave for 2 mins, strain and enjoy.

Drink one cup of tea for 9 days  then break for two(2) weeks.
